About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Verify contact lens prescriptions by processing inbound images from customers and eye care providers
Process an average of 125 items per hour (approximately 875 items in an 8-hour shift)
Follow standardized processes to achieve the best customer experience and remain compliant
Respond to emails and text messages from customers regarding their prescriptions
Advise customers regarding any order adjustments
Interact directly with customers through email, text messages and sometimes via the phone
Abide by 1-800 Contacts policies and procedures

Perform other duties as assigned by managers

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent experience
Great typing skills (at least 40 words per minute)
Technical proficiency
Reliable internet connection and speeds of 20 mbps download and 10 mbps upload, or better
A private, dedicated workplace, free from interruption or distraction that promotes confidentiality
High adaptability and change agility
Solution-oriented, positive, and driven mindset
Self-motivated and competitive with excellent memorization skills
Reliable attendance and commitment to working scheduled shifts
Training and working remotely from approved locations: North Carolina, Texas and Utah
A weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) is mandatory each week
