About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the strategic development and activation of the client’s college sports sponsorships and events
  • Manage marquee and other assigned portfolio partnerships
  • Manage a team across internal verticals and develop detailed project plans for assigned events
  • Manage timelines to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met within budget
  • Partner with internal divisions, external stakeholders, and third-party vendors to execute events according to protocol and brand standards
  • Coordinate fulfillment aspects of assigned programs and events with account teams, clients, agencies, and partner properties
  • Manage reporting and evaluation for new, prospective, and existing sponsorships
  • Manage after-action performance measurement based on established client objectives
  • Create and maintain client-ready POVs, recommendations, and activation plans
  • Collaborate with internal creative staff to brief projects and ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant agency, team, or client-based account management experience
  • Experience working on and/or with sports platforms/properties; college football experience preferred
  • Demonstrate understanding of military culture, protocol and etiquette
  • Participation in the selection, negotiation, and evaluation of successful sponsorship programs
  • Proven ability to prioritize workflow, manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to problem-solve independently and in groups
  • Military experience and/or a desire to work with military-based programs is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with client management experience preferred
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time, including weekend events
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and like programs
