About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overall responsibility for managing all turnkey large-scale projects (multi-MW PV, BESS, EV charging infrastructure, EMS) with regard to schedule, budget, quality, P&L and margin
Disciplinary and functional leadership, coaching and development of the project manager team within a dynamic matrix organization
Continuous coordination of capacities with Engineering and Technical Operations Management to ensure optimal resource allocation
Establishment and consistent implementation of binding PM standards and stage-gate processes from sales handover through execution and grid connection to project completion
Consistent enforcement of change orders and additional claims (VOB/B, BGB, EPC)
Responsibility for portfolio monitoring, including regular risk reporting to the Executive Management
Collaboration with Executive Management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering or a comparable technical qualification supplemented by business administration training
At least 5–8 years of solid EPC experience in turnkey project management for large-scale renewable-energy projects (rooftop PV, BESS, EV charging infrastructure)
Demonstrated success in the disciplinary management of project leadership teams and the functional leadership of interdisciplinary teams in matrix structures
In-depth knowledge of construction and works contract law (VOB/B, BGB, EPC contracts)
Proven ability to assertively manage claims and change orders
Solid technical understanding of medium-voltage connections, transformer substations and grid operator interfaces
Business-fluent German and English
