About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently take ownership of automation projects, from analyzing operational processes through to implementation
Walk through operational processes at the individual-customer level to understand which processes should be automated
Collaborate with Process and Operations teams to identify challenges
Develop solutions with measurable impact
Use n8n, Make, Zapier, and coding agents for system integration and app prototyping
Build robust and scalable data structures
Document automations in the knowledge base
Independently evaluate new AI tools and automation platforms
Contribute ideas for further process improvement and automation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently pursuing a degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable field—or technically inclined with demonstrable experience
Practical experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Make, or Zapier
Strong hands-on mentality
Proactive approach to driving initiatives forward
Availability for at least 5 months; 6 months or longer preferred
Fluent German skills at least at C1 level
Open to feedback and highly motivated to learn
Initial experience in the energy sector is a plus, but not required
