About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate AI-generated outputs involving financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis
- Review assumptions, methodologies, calculations, and conclusions for technical accuracy
- Assess whether valuation approaches fit the company, transaction, or market context
- Identify unrealistic assumptions, weak logic, unsupported conclusions, errors, and incomplete analysis
- Evaluate investment opportunities, company performance, and transaction dynamics
- Review financial and operational information from an investor or deal-team perspective
- Identify key risks, diligence gaps, and material considerations
- Assess capital-markets, financing, market-based reasoning, capital structure, returns, risk, and market-condition analysis
- Compare alternative analytical approaches and explain trade-offs
- Create expert-level prompts based on realistic investment, valuation, and deal scenarios
- Develop rigorous reference answers and document assumptions and analytical reasoning
- Provide concise, actionable feedback to improve AI-generated outputs
- Distinguish superficial financial reasoning from sound analysis
- Contribute observations to improve model behaviour across finance-related tasks
- Maintain consistent evaluation standards across diverse scenarios
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 1 year of experience at a well-known financial institution, investment firm, or legitimate startup
- At least part of the relevant experience gained within approximately the past 7 years
- Relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, growth equity, or closely related finance roles
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- Practical experience with investment analysis, due diligence, or transaction work
- Strong understanding of capital markets and financial-analysis principles
- Excellent written English and ability to explain financial reasoning clearly
- Strong analytical judgement and attention to detail
- Undergraduate degree from a highly ranked university is preferred
- Candidates based in English-speaking countries are preferred
- Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, fund, portfolio company, institution, or other third party
