About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Help lead annual operating plan, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning across the organization
  • Consolidate enterprise financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans across business units
  • Develop and maintain integrated three-statement financial models for planning, liquidity management, and executive decision-making
  • Build scenario analyses, business cases, and financial models for strategic initiatives, investments, and operational decisions
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations
  • Evaluate financial performance, operational trends, and resource allocation with business leaders
  • Analyze monthly financial results and communicate actionable insights to leadership
  • Develop scalable reporting, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Provide financial analysis and decision support for cross-functional initiatives
  • Improve FP&A processes, reporting, and planning capabilities through automation and standardization
  • Maintain and enhance financial planning models and reporting within Adaptive Planning
  • Improve financial reporting infrastructure and documentation
  • Prepare executive, Board, and management reporting materials
  • Lead or support enterprise strategic initiatives requiring cross-functional financial evaluation
  • Support Degree partner cash collection initiatives to improve working capital and cash flow
  • Provide ad hoc financial analyses during the company’s transformation
  • Foster a high-performance culture and elevate analytical, financial acumen, and storytelling capabilities across the team
  • Optimize team structure and workflows to scale with company growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related field, with 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate financial insights
  • Advanced proficiency with Adaptive Planning or comparable enterprise planning systems, including model development, forecasting, reporting, and administration
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated competency in three-statement financial modeling
  • Proven ability to translate complex financial analyses into clear, compelling narratives for Board and executive-level presentations
  • 5% travel via plane, car, and train may be required
  • Flexibility to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant
  • Mobility within the office, including movement from floor to floor
  • Ability to access information using a computer
