About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide first-level support for tickets related to suspected security threats or incidents
- Securely configure operating systems, ensuring patches are applied, unused ports are blocked, and the integrity of the corporate antivirus solution is maintained
- Support the identification, isolation, and remediation of threats affecting assets
- Identity and Access Management: create, grant permissions to, and deactivate user accounts in accordance with the principle of least privilege
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Networks, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with expected graduation in the second semester of 2027 or later
- Maintain active student enrollment
- Availability from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Knowledge of IT Infrastructure (preferred)
- Cybersecurity fundamentals (preferred)
- Knowledge of the Windows operating system (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of network support (preferred)
