About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using .NET technologies
- Build and enhance web applications using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
- Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as required
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Work within Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework/.NET Core
- Experience with RESTful APIs and Web Services
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, database design, stored procedures, and query optimization
- Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM frameworks
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern front-end frameworks is a plus
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in .NET application development
- Experience working in Agile development environments preferred
- Knowledge of Microservices Architecture
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
