About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Provenir decisioning platform implementation
- Validate API inputs and outputs
- Validate decision logs and scoring pipeline results
- Build automated tests in Databricks
- Use Python and SQL to perform data quality validation
- Automate testing through scripts and scheduled jobs
- Work independently while collaborating with the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of experience
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong Databricks and Python skills
- Advanced SQL skills
- QA experience using Python/SQL to validate data, including nulls, duplicates, missing/incorrect values, and counts
- REST API testing experience
- Experience building test suites
- Experience automating testing through scripts and scheduled jobs
- Strong database design/ERD knowledge
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team
- Financial services/lending experience and exposure to credit decisioning platforms, especially Provenir preferred
- Ability to work Eastern/Central-friendly hours preferred; Pacific Coast candidates are not preferred
