Key responsibilities & impact

Build and repair wooden pallets from freshly cut or recycled wood daily
Receive wood from the saw shop and piece it together with a nail gun along set stringers
Stack finished products by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas
Follow company safety procedures to ensure personal and team safety
Maintain high quality standards while producing a high volume of finished goods

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to work in extreme conditions including heat, cold, and air particulate
Repetitively lift up to 75 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths in time
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including eye protection, mandatory ear protection at several locations, and safety shoes
Close vision, distance vision, and color vision
Good sense of balance and good eye-hand-foot coordination
