About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and repair wooden pallets from freshly cut or recycled wood daily
  • Receive wood from the saw shop and piece it together with a nail gun along set stringers
  • Stack finished products by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas
  • Follow company safety procedures to ensure personal and workplace safety
  • Achieve high quality standards while maintaining a high volume of finished goods

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
  • Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to work in extreme conditions including heat, cold, elements, and air particulate
  • Repetitively lift up to 50-75 pounds and bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including eye protection, mandatory ear protection at several locations, and safety shoes
  • Close vision, distance vision, and color vision
