About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct drive test collection
- Perform special project testing
- Coordinate field activities with client representatives
- Utilize various test equipment arrangements and system test receivers
- Operate a test vehicle and associated laptop computer
- Interact with other engineering personnel in a team-oriented environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must live within 60 minutes of Downtown Nashville, Tennessee
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card work authorization
- 2+ years of Wireless Testing experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to complete walk tests of up to 1/2 mile when needed
- AS degree in Engineering or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience/military service
- Able to utilize a laptop and quickly learn Windows-based testing applications
- Willingness to operate a vehicle 6–7 hours per day
- Ability to use GPS for navigation
- Ability to stay in the test region overnight very occasionally
- Clean criminal and driving background with valid license
- Must be able to drive a vehicle leased through Enterprise Car Rental and not be on the Do-Not-Rent List
- Any work with wireless networks or RF signals preferred
- Experience with mapping preferred
