About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define, review, and maintain IT policies, standards, procedures, and controls
- Monitor access management, change management, business continuity, and internal control processes
- Define, monitor, and report on the department’s KPIs and SLAs
- Serve as the focal point for internal and external audits
- Apply best practices and frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, ITSM, ISO 20000, and ISO 27001
- Coordinate the annual IT budget planning process with business areas, including Opex and Capex, and monitor its execution
- Support the validation of purchase requests for IT services, tools, and licenses
- Structure and monitor technology vendor management, including due diligence processes and contract management support
- Support the DPO on matters related to Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and personal data protection, including vendor assessments, contractual clauses, incidents, and privacy artifacts
- Support the definition of governance and responsible AI use policies
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate departmental routines using AI tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- Solid experience in IT Governance, Auditing, or related areas
- Knowledge of governance, service management, and information security frameworks
- Hands-on experience with LGPD and data protection, including ROPA, RIPD/DPIA, data subject requests, and incident support
- Experience implementing or establishing IT Governance processes, policies, and controls
- Knowledge of vendor management, due diligence, budgeting, metrics, and SLAs
- Experience with ITSM tools and Change Management processes
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different business areas
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in IT Governance, Risk Management, Information Security, Auditing, or Compliance
- Certifications such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, CRISC, or CISM
- LGPD certification or formal training
- Experience with Freshservice, Privacy Tools, or similar platforms
