About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the technical point of reference for integrations during implementation projects, leading communication with the technical teams of educational institutions and integration partners
Create, configure, and administer institutions’ staging and production environments, ensuring the correct configuration of products, visual customizations, credentials, and required access permissions
Generate, issue, and manage credentials, API keys, and other resources required to integrate solutions within the Platform A ecosystem
Lead technical kickoff, alignment, and integration follow-up meetings, monitoring activity progress and ensuring project milestones are met
Provide technical guidance to clients and partners on implementing integrations via API, SSO, LTI, files, and other mechanisms supported by the platform
Validate the quality, integrity, and compliance of received data, identifying inconsistencies and directing the necessary adjustments
Provide technical support for implementing integrations related to ecosystem solutions, especially LXP, Avalia, +A Data, and GPA
Validate implementations completed by institutions or partners, ensuring that technical requirements and standards have been met before releasing the production environment
Provide, present, and guide clients and partners in the use of technical documentation
Continuously maintain, update, and improve technical documentation, proposing enhancements to the integration process
Work closely with Product, Support, Data, Technology, and other internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve the customer experience
Coordinate and provide technical follow-up with vendors and third-party companies responsible for developing integrations
Identify opportunities to improve integration processes, tools, and standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with REST API integrations and HTTP concepts
Knowledge of JSON, XML, and other data exchange formats
Knowledge of authentication and authorization, including API keys, OAuth, and SSO
Knowledge of LTI and other educational integration standards
Experience with file-based integrations and import/export processes
Knowledge of webhooks, MCPs, and system-to-system communication
Understanding of databases and data structures
Experience analyzing logs and troubleshooting integrations
Experience working with staging and production environments
Knowledge of information security concepts applied to integrations
Ability to create and interpret technical documentation
Knowledge of educational platforms and LMS/LXP ecosystems
Clear communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for different audiences
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Analytical thinking and problem-solving investigation skills
Proactivity and autonomy in identifying and resolving issues
Preferred: knowledge of Snowflake and Redshift
Preferred: Spanish proficiency
