About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain all Development operations and systems
- Maintain the integrity of fundraising data and systems, including Zoho CRM, the Master Prospect List, revenue tracker, and related development tools
- Create and maintain accurate donor, prospect, and grant records
- Monitor fundraising pipelines and surface stalled opportunities or upcoming deadlines
- Maintain the development calendar and track fundraising priorities and commitments
- Manage grant proposal and funder reporting processes from start to finish
- Coordinate collaborative drafts, internal reviews, feedback incorporation, and timely submission of fundraising materials
- Maintain proposal and reporting schedules and document organizational knowledge
- Prepare donor briefing materials and background research
- Coordinate logistics and follow-through for parlor meetings, funder briefings, and cultivation or stewardship events
- Maintain contact records and relationship history
- Collaborate with Programs and Operations to manage Ignition Grant disbursements, payment processing, and compliance documentation
- Partner with Communications to develop fundraising collateral and donor-facing materials
- Improve fundraising systems, workflows, operational processes, and data quality
- Provide operational and administrative support to Development and Operations teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 1-2 years of experience in development, nonprofit operations, project management, grants administration, fundraising, or other relevant professional experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and manage sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to proactively solve problems and take ownership of projects from start to finish
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues across organizational functions and levels in a virtual work environment
- Comfort learning and working within technology platforms, including Zoho CRM, Asana, Google Workspace, Slack, and other productivity tools
- Commitment to experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement

- Experience supporting fundraising, donor stewardship, or nonprofit administration is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of and experience working within the American Jewish community is a plus
