About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage day-to-day procurement for cruise operations
  • Purchase materials and services for the nautical and technical operations of all vessels
  • Support internal procurement controlling, maintain master data and contribute to projects
  • Verify incoming invoices, check their accuracy and assign them to the appropriate accounts
  • Handle payment reminders and provide cover for colleagues during annual leave
  • Maintain and update vessel documentation in the fleet management system
  • Monitor vessel certificate expiry dates
  • Support the technical department in recording technical and nautical data, such as operating hours and fuel consumption
  • Assist with scheduling technical personnel on board
  • Support the further development of the Planned Maintenance System (PMS)
  • Support the continued implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) across the fleet
  • Work closely with the nautical and technical departments
  • Participate in team meetings and act responsibly in line with the company’s objectives and values

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed commercial or technical vocational training, ideally with a focus on procurement or supply chain management
  • Professional experience in operational procurement, preferably in the maritime industry
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
  • French language skills would be an advantage
  • Good IT skills, particularly in MS Office
  • A meticulous and structured approach to work, combined with a strong sense of responsibility
  • A collaborative mindset and a willingness to work closely with different departments
  • Willingness to travel for business
