About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary operational technology partner for assigned clients and align infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies to business objectives
- Act as the primary technical liaison between client stakeholders and Abacus delivery teams
- Perform targeted hands-on technical work and coordinate larger engineering efforts
- Help clients operationalize technology initiatives in regulated environments
- Provide technical guidance and coordinate complex support matters and escalations
- Guide modernization initiatives involving cloud platforms, cybersecurity, identity and access management, infrastructure lifecycle management, automation, collaboration platforms, and operational tooling
- Support evaluation, preparation, and operationalization of AI-enabled solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve operational maturity, resiliency, scalability, governance, automation, and technology effectiveness
- Oversee service activity, recurring concerns, escalations, and technical debt while driving continuous improvement
- Maintain regular engagement with client technical and operational stakeholders through meetings, communication, service reviews, and technology planning
- Execute standardized VTM service offerings and technical deliverables across the broader client base
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience supporting financial services organizations within a managed services, consulting, or enterprise technology environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and operational service delivery
- Experience coordinating complex technical initiatives across multiple teams and vendors
- Familiarity with regulated environments and compliance-driven operational models
- Strong organizational, communication, and client relationship skills
- Ability to operate independently while driving accountability across matrixed teams
- Interest in AI, automation, and emerging operational technologies
- Strong understanding of modern Microsoft-centric infrastructure and cloud ecosystems, including Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, collaboration, and endpoint management platforms
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments across servers, networking, identity, security, and operational platforms
- Strong knowledge of core Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Windows Server, Exchange Online, and Entra ID
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, identity and access management, operational modernization, infrastructure lifecycle management, and governance-driven technology environments
- Current U.S. work authorization required; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable
