About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform operations and maintenance of existing Red Hat OpenShift environments across multiple security domains in cloud and vSphere datacenter environments
Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, and Red Hat GitOps
Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they become operational
Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale platforms accordingly
Collaborate with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions
Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack
Compile detailed documentation
Support user-facing and data center IT services for an Intelligence Community customer across multiple networks, security domains, and worldwide locations

Requirements

What you’ll need

TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a CI Poly
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or qualifying additional education, training, certifications, or work experience in lieu of degree or work experience
5-8 years of developer experience
8140.01M IAT Level II certification
Experience deploying and managing Red Hat OpenShift in cloud and/or vSphere environments
Experience with Amazon Web Services
Python, Shell scripting, and Git
Linux distributions including RHEL/RHCOS and CentOS
CI/CD orchestration tools including GitLab CI and Jenkins
Container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem
