About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, promote and maintain a strong Health, Safety & Environment culture across the plant
- Oversee safe handling, storage and use of chemical materials
- Ensure compliance with Turkish occupational health and safety legislation, permits and industry standards
- Identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Design and deliver HSE training programs, drills and awareness initiatives
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, identify root causes, and drive continuous safety improvement
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and control thermal and mechanical stripping hazards
- Maintain hands-on shop-floor presence and work with production and maintenance teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, metal, chemical or surface treatment industries
- Strong knowledge of Chemical Process Safety
- Valid Occupational Safety Specialist certification, C-Class or higher
- Fluent in English
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills for an international working environment
- Leadership skills to develop and maintain a strong HSE culture
- Candidate must be based in Manisa
- CV must be submitted in English
