About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of strategic events from strategy and budget through delivery, measurement, and post-event analysis
  • Own venue and vendor selection, production, registration, attendee journey, hospitality, staffing, technology, and on-site operations
  • Partner with Brand Creative, Content, Communications, Sales, Strategic Alliances, Campaigns, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Revenue Marketing, People, and executive stakeholders
  • Build run-of-show documents, project plans, timelines, and contingency plans; lead on-site execution
  • Manage budgets, contracts, purchase orders, and vendor deliverables
  • Develop repeatable event playbooks, templates, and standards
  • Design and deliver executive programs including advisory boards, curated hospitality, and executive tracks
  • Coordinate executive and VIP participation, including briefing materials, preparation, on-site handling, and follow-through
  • Co-own large internal events such as Sales Kickoff and President’s Club
  • Define and track event KPIs including attendance, engagement, meetings, pipeline influence, customer participation, and ROI
  • Deliver post-event reporting and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate and accessible event documentation and reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic events, executive programs, or field marketing
  • Direct experience owning executive-level programs
  • Proven ownership of complex, high-visibility owned events and executive programs from strategy through execution and analysis
  • Experience delivering large internal events such as Sales Kickoff, sales incentive or club trips, or company offsites
  • Budget, vendor, agency, and contract management experience across multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Strong program management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, including polished agendas, briefing documents, and executive-facing communications
  • Executive maturity and credibility with senior leaders
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and solve unexpected on-site problems
  • Commercial understanding of how events drive brand, customer relationships, and pipeline
  • Demonstrated use of AI to improve workflows, decisions, and leverage
  • Willingness to travel roughly 25%, primarily in North America
  • Cybersecurity experience is a plus, not a requirement
