About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Python or Golang
Build and optimize low-latency streaming architectures for live threat intelligence
Implement and tune OpenSearch/Elasticsearch layers for large-scale searchable datasets
Translate high-level goals into technical specifications and maintainable code
Manage deployments and infrastructure within AWS/EKS
Use AI tools to accelerate development and automate routine backend tasks
Collaborate with the team to identify architectural gaps and proactively suggest improvements
Contribute to a real-time Threat Intelligence platform and enterprise-scale security infrastructure processing 10B+ emails per week and approximately 35 TB of data daily

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–5 years of production experience in backend development and systems design
Hands-on experience with Kafka, Kinesis, or similar message brokers/streaming platforms
Proven experience working with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch at scale
Deep familiarity with AWS (highly preferred)
Mandatory production experience with EKS (Kubernetes)
Proficiency in Python or Golang
Solid experience with Postgres
Comfortable with zero-to-one challenges and defining requirements when specifications are loose
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or a closely related engineering field
