About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js in an event-driven Microservices architecture
Design and implement solutions for processing events from multiple systems, supporting various business processes and services
Develop REST APIs and integrate between complex systems and interfaces
Investigate complex technical issues and analyze logs in distributed environments
Design technological solutions while collaborating with development teams, architects, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
Utilize AI tools throughout the development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and critically reviewing AI-generated outputs

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 2 years of experience in Backend development using Node.js – mandatory
Strong proficiency in JavaScript – mandatory
At least 2 years of experience developing Microservices – mandatory
At least 2 years of experience working with Kafka and/or RabbitMQ – mandatory
At least 2 years of experience developing REST APIs and working with SQL/NoSQL databases – mandatory
At least 1 year of experience writing automated Unit and Integration tests – mandatory
Proven experience regularly using AI tools for planning, development, and testing, including critically evaluating outputs and identifying and correcting errors – mandatory
Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI – mandatory
Strong system-wide thinking, solution design, and complex troubleshooting skills – mandatory
Experience working with MongoDB – advantage
Familiarity with monitoring and log analysis tools such as Elasticsearch and Kibana – advantage
Familiarity with Kubernetes environments – advantage
Experience developing with TypeScript – advantage
Experience developing with React – advantage
Strong analytical and system-wide thinking with excellent technological solution design capabilities
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex distributed environments
Critical thinking and sound judgment, particularly when evaluating AI-generated outputs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when working with technical and business stakeholders
