Key responsibilities & impact

  • Develop, test, and refine prompts for AI agents in multi-agent simulation environments
  • Integrate with a cloud-based generative AI platform
  • Optimize systems for performance and cost
  • Validate AI-generated outputs using statistical models and subject-matter-expert feedback
  • Continuously enhance agent reliability and realism as new use cases and mission needs emerge
  • Help bring advanced generative AI capabilities into real-world operational environments within a secure government cloud ecosystem

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • US Citizen
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience such as 4 additional years of relevant hands-on work
  • Experience in applied ML/AI engineering, including production prompt engineering or agentic system design
  • Hands-on experience with large language model APIs and scaling considerations for cost and performance
  • Proficiency with version control tools such as Git
  • Ability to work full time on-site in the DC area
  • Preferred: background in linear or mathematical optimization
  • Preferred: experience with multi-agent or agent-based modeling
  • Preferred: familiarity with Palantir Foundry or Palantir AIP
  • Preferred: domain experience in healthcare, clinical, or defense analytics
  • Work authorization in the US without current or future visa sponsorship requirement
