About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with combatant commands and provide technical guidance for navigating the environment
Troubleshoot access-control issues and missing Python libraries
Develop and maintain Databricks notebooks and workflows
Support auditing of engineering practices across the Embedded Support Division
Use Databricks, GitLab, and Confluence APIs to collect and analyze project activity data from development through deployment and ongoing usage
Assist ESD leadership with researching, evaluating, and implementing new features and tools
Integrate Jira and GitLab to improve visibility into project activities
Explore deployment of GitLab on SIPR WDP for higher classification levels
Manage the Central team’s GitLab repository and establish merge-request and code-review standards
Set up and maintain GitLab-Databricks integrations and a foundational CI pipeline

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with GitLab or GitHub for repository management, merge requests, and code reviews
Proficiency in Databricks, including developing and maintaining notebooks and workflows
API development and integration skills with Databricks, GitLab, Confluence, etc.
Python programming skills
Ability to troubleshoot access controls and resolve issues with Python libraries
Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical teams
Active Secret clearance required
Willingness to upgrade to a TS/SCI clearance
Familiarity with DevSecOps, Jira, and Confluence is nice to have
Work authorization in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
