About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Project Manager in project planning, structuring, scheduling, and performance monitoring
  • Assist in managing project workflows in alignment with CMS requirements
  • Ensure project execution adheres to the Contractor’s strategy, management plan, and quality processes
  • Serve as acting Project Manager when required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain project continuity, compliance, and timeliness
  • Support a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) contract as a Key Personnel role fully dedicated to the contract

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the healthcare industry supporting Federal Government agencies or the Commercial Healthcare Market in roles such as Project Manager, Project Leader, Operations Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Product Manager
  • Minimum 2 years managing complex medical review systems and workflow, including personnel oversight
  • Minimum 2 years of Medicare Fee-for-Service (FFS) experience, particularly Medicare coverage and payment rules
  • Must be actively working toward a Project Management certification if not already obtained
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a healthcare-relevant field
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Public Administration, or another healthcare-related field, or four additional years of related work experience in lieu of a master’s degree
  • Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States
