About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain Android applications and plugins for Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK) and related TAK ecosystem products
Integrate Cursor-on-Target (CoT) messaging, mapping overlays, and situational-awareness features into mobile applications
Write, test, and debug code supporting TAK Server API integrations
Interact with customers and end users to translate requirements into working software features
Produce customer-facing production code from day one
Work remotely as part of an existing team

Requirements

What you’ll need

1–3 years of experience in native Android development in Java and/or Kotlin
1–3 years of experience with source control such as Git
Exposure to ATAK plugin development or the broader TAK ecosystem (TAK Server, CoT messaging, WinTAK/iTAK)
Ability to produce customer-facing production code from day one
Must have US work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship
Secret clearance level
