About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee complex business and system analysis, solution design, coding, and testing across enterprise SAP environments
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs and high-quality development outputs
- Guide SAP development strategy and evaluate solution alternatives
- Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants, technical teams, business stakeholders, and client leadership
- Prepare programming specifications, diagrams, flowcharts, and logic flow documentation
- Lead SAP development activities across multiple teams
- Provide day-to-day oversight of development tasks, quality, standards, and project timelines
- Support budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning for development workstreams
- Mentor and train junior team members
- Align SAP project goals with broader business and organizational objectives
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation in SAP development processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of SAP development experience
- Extensive SAP project management experience
- Strong understanding of SAP solutions and implementation practices
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple development teams
- Strong knowledge of Accenture delivery methodologies and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong proficiency in project planning, resource allocation, and risk management
- Ability to align SAP development activities with broader business strategies
- Experience mentoring and developing team members
- Commitment to continuous improvement and staying current on SAP tools, technologies, and industry trends
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Eligible to obtain a minimum of a Public Trust Clearance
- Work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship in the United States
