About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic technical leadership for ServiceNow platform architecture, development, and implementation across Accenture Federal Services projects
- Serve as the primary technical authority on ServiceNow capabilities, best practices, and solution design
- Lead technical strategy and architectural oversight for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements
- Design scalable, complex ServiceNow solutions using workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations
- Guide and mentor development teams, including code review and workload management
- Establish and enforce ServiceNow development standards, coding practices, and architectural patterns
- Architect integrations with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and Integration Hub
- Translate business requirements into technical designs through structured design sessions
- Perform advanced development, including custom applications and complex platform configurations
- Ensure solutions adhere to best practices, performance standards, and upgrade-safe design
- Collaborate with architects, developers, administrators, and business analysts
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert-level resolution
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases and drive continuous platform improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6 years of ServiceNow technical experience, including platform architecture and development team leadership
- Certified Master Architect (CMA) OR Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- Active TS/SCI or higher
- Work authorization in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
- Experience with ServiceNow platform architecture and development
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, IRM, SecOps, and custom applications
- Experience with workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations
- Experience with REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and Integration Hub
- Experience leading and mentoring development teams
- Experience with custom applications and complex platform configurations
