About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead management teams at all levels across large projects and accounts
- Work with account leadership and client commercial and business stakeholders to understand client needs and priorities
- Develop staff across multiple projects and accounts and support performance management activities
- Identify, escalate, and resolve commercial and contract risks and issues with leadership
- Engage in pre-award sales activities and assist with deal shaping
- Negotiate commercial and contractual outcomes with sales teams and business leadership
- Support contract drafting
- Build trusted relationships with client counterparts
- Work collaboratively and persuasively with executives and non-executives
- Work remotely, onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office or center as needed
- Participate in in-person collaboration, learning, and relationship-building
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 10 yrs. relevant experience as a contract manager with exposure to complex deals
- Proven team management experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with client executives at all levels
- Significant understanding of commercial contracting regulations and principles, subcontracting practices, and commercial contracting terms and conditions
- Openness to work with and understand cross-cultures and locations throughout the Accenture global organization
- IACCM or NCMA membership and/or professional certification is a plus
