About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain high-performance Java applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient APIs and microservices
- Implement solutions using reactive programming and software development best practices
- Conduct unit testing and ensure code quality using JUnit and Mockito
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Support application modernization and the architectural evolution of systems
- Share technical knowledge and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes
- For Technical Specialist or Tech Lead roles, provide technical leadership, mentoring, and team guidance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot
- Knowledge of APIs and microservices
- Experience with reactive programming
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks, including JUnit and Mockito
- Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Knowledge of dependency management tools (Maven and Gradle)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and project management tools (Jira, Trello)
- For Senior-level roles: advanced experience with Docker and Kubernetes, messaging systems (Kafka and Event Hub), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab CI), DevOps practices, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), and Hexagonal Architecture
- For Technical Specialist or Tech Lead roles: strong expertise in systems architecture and design patterns, Grafana, resilience in distributed systems, technical leadership, mentoring, and team guidance
- Preferred: Apache Camel, Quarkus, Angular, technical or intermediate English, experience in large-scale corporate environments, event-driven architecture, and certifications related to the technologies required for the role
