About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in business requirements, discovery, and process-design sessions with functional SMEs and business users
- Plan and facilitate collaborative workshops to understand processes, user needs, pain points, decision points, handoffs, and improvement opportunities
- Synthesize interviews, workshops, requirements, and process documentation into design insights
- Facilitate alignment across business, functional, technical, and delivery stakeholders
- Develop current-state and future-state user journeys, service blueprints, and end-to-end workflow maps
- Identify friction points, unnecessary process steps, unclear ownership, and opportunities for automation or AI enablement
- Define user interactions with AI-enabled capabilities, including human review, decision support, escalation, and exception handling
- Create information architectures, task flows, sketches, wireframes, screen concepts, and high-fidelity interface designs
- Develop interactive Figma prototypes for design sessions, stakeholder reviews, and user validation
- Define layouts, navigation, interactions, forms, dashboards, notifications, prompts, and other UI elements
- Apply accessibility, consistency, usability, and responsive-design considerations
- Design understandable AI experiences with human-in-the-loop controls and confirmation points
- Work with architects and developers to confirm technical feasibility
- Translate approved designs into build-ready artifacts, annotated designs, interaction specifications, business rules, and documentation
- Support user stories, design acceptance criteria, and backlog items
- Answer development questions and conduct design reviews and UX quality checks
- Own assigned design activities and deliverables with limited day-to-day oversight
- Manage design priorities across multiple use cases or concurrent activities
- Maintain documentation of design decisions, assumptions, questions, dependencies, and feedback
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to Project Leadership
- Produce client-ready materials and present designs to stakeholders and leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in UX design, UI design, product design, experience design, service design, or a closely related field
- Strong hands-on proficiency with Figma, including wireframing, high-fidelity design, interactive prototyping, components, and collaborative design
- Experience facilitating discovery sessions, user workshops, workflow discussions, or collaborative design sessions with business stakeholders
- Experience translating complex business processes, pain points, and requirements into clear and intuitive user experiences
- Demonstrated ability to create user journeys, task flows, workflow diagrams, service blueprints, and interactive prototypes
- Experience designing enterprise, operational, workflow-driven, or business-to-business applications
- Experience designing interactively in front of users and incorporating feedback in real time or through rapid iteration
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, interaction design, and information architecture
- Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, Psychology, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience
