About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide expert-level knowledge and design solutions for enterprise color management
- Advise on difficult color-management issues and develop creative solutions, policies, and procedures
- Assist Regional Color Advisors with designing, integrating, and delivering complex software and inkjet solutions
- Provide partner product support to internal and external customers throughout the assigned region
- Design and communicate complex technical solutions
- Assist with onboarding new color applications to maximize inkjet technology utilization
- Support regional sales in generating new business and advise on color expertise for sales opportunities
- Drive page volume to Canon equipment from competitive devices
- Design application workflows automating data preparation, preflighting, postal processing, and finishing
- Communicate product requirements, missing capabilities, market expectations, and issues to Product Development teams
- Provide software product training and problem resolution support for Canon Canada, Mexico, and Latin America
- Deliver high-quality work with the National Support Team
- Provide post-sales 24/7 support, implementation services, and after-hours support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required
- 3–5 years of related experience
- Experience in printing pre-sales/post-sales support in production environments
- Certified G7 Expert
- Certified Color Management Professional Master
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Required minimum auto insurance coverages
- May require local, regional, national, and international travel with overnight stays
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must reside in the United States at the time of hire
- Visa sponsorship is not supported
