About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the contracts function for Accrete AI Government, including contract negotiation, analysis, administration, and compliance
- Oversee the full contract lifecycle from proposal and negotiation through award, administration, modifications, and closeout
- Review and negotiate NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, vendor agreements, and customer contracts
- Support the Program Management Office with contract modifications and contractual requirements
- Establish and maintain contract policies, procedures, processes, and operating standards
- Partner with Sales and Business Development on contract strategy, customer engagement, and contract acquisition
- Participate in proposal development and reviews for government contracting compliance and protection of company interests
- Manage negotiations with government Contracting Officers, customers, subcontractors, teaming partners, and vendors
- Develop negotiation strategies with Sales, Business Development, Legal, Finance, and program leadership
- Provide strategic contracts guidance on complex bids and support disputes and nonstandard contract terms
- Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Monitor contractual compliance with federal acquisition regulations, contract requirements, and company policies
- Identify and resolve contract-related compliance issues
- Ensure contractual requirements are implemented across programs and business functions
- Support strong contract performance, customer satisfaction, and favorable CPARs where applicable
- Serve as the primary contracts resource to AAIG leadership and partner with Legal, Finance, Sales, Business Development, and Operations
- Build relationships with government customers and external stakeholders
- Guide and mentor contracts personnel
- Support process improvement and change management initiatives related to contracts and business operations
- Report to the General Counsel and VP of Business Development
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of related work experience as a Contracts professional in federal contracting companies, with progressive responsibility
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Willingness and ability to be processed for additional agency-specific clearances
- In-depth knowledge of federal government contracting, including the federal acquisition process and regulations
- Experience managing contracts within the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and/or Aerospace sector
- Business acumen and ability to develop creative and practical solutions
- Experience developing organizational conflict of interest mitigation plans
- Experience negotiating teaming agreements in coordination with Legal
- Experience developing and negotiating large, highly complex bids
- Experience managing a variety of contract types
- Strong writing and time management skills
- Integrity and professionalism
- Superior interpersonal skills and ability to relate to employees and management at all levels
- Attention to detail and organization
- Ability to adapt to change and work independently and collaboratively
