About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the review and assessment of corporate policies and standards for adequacy, adherence, and effectiveness, proposing adjustments that strengthen the internal control environment and compliance.
Support assessments of the internal control environment, ranging from moderate to high complexity, across all areas of the organization, considering COSO 2013, COSO ERM, ISO 31000, and other applicable frameworks.
Distinguish and describe risks and risk factors, controls, activities, and control testing, documenting information in an organized manner with thorough self-review and support from leadership or a senior analyst when necessary.
Assist in preparing reports detailing procedures, tests performed, results obtained, and recommendations.
Meet with business areas to present assessments of the control environment and identified weaknesses, discussing recommendations and potential action plans.
Use tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio to document audited/reviewed process mappings.
Provide support to business areas regarding action plans for addressing internal and external audit findings.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Understanding of accounting standards and experience with risk management and internal controls processes.
Familiarity with data analysis tools, audit software, and management systems (ERPs).
Knowledge of COSO, SOX, ISO 31000, and other frameworks.
Availability to work on-site Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays in Guarulhos.
