About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, implement, and maintain the IT infrastructure for aconnic and NewTal
- Ensure system availability and performance
- Administer Microsoft and Linux servers, as well as virtualization environments using VMware, Hyper-V, and Proxmox
- Maintain the network infrastructure, including Fortinet firewalls and HPE switches
- Configure routing and VLANs and optimize security and performance
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other domain services
- Plan and perform updates and patches
- Develop and administer the Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange Online
- Maintain Microsoft Terminal Servers, Remote Desktop Services, and the Veeam Backup & Replication infrastructure
- Provide first- and second-level user support
- Resolve complex IT issues
- Manage IT projects in the server and network environments in collaboration with internal and external partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed degree in computer science, information technology, or communications engineering; comparable IT training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration); or several years of experience administering enterprise IT environments
- Experience in systems integration and operating modern IT infrastructures
- Proficient with Microsoft client and server operating systems, Linux, and Apple macOS
- Experience with VMware (ESXi, vCenter), Veeam Backup & Replication, and Microsoft 365 environments
- Fluent in German and proficient in English
- Strong team player with a high level of responsibility and a reliable working style
- Willingness to learn and commitment to continuous professional development
- Proactive, hands-on mindset
- Ability to work independently and maintain an overview even in complex IT environments
