Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality teaching and learning sessions, workshops, and tutorials in line with curriculum requirements and individual learner needs
  • Assess learners’ English and Mathematics, identifying areas for improvement and tailoring teaching methods accordingly
  • Develop and deliver engaging and interactive sessions using a variety of teaching techniques and resources
  • Provide individualised support through one-on-one meetings and additional learning resources
  • Monitor and track learners' progress, provide regular feedback, and implement strategies to address weaknesses
  • Set and mark assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in team meetings and training sessions
  • Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate with learners, employers, and relevant stakeholders about progress and concerns
  • Stay up to date with developments in English and Mathematics education, curriculum changes, and teaching methodologies
  • Support learner achievement, satisfaction, engagement, timely assessment, curriculum compliance, collaboration, and continuous improvement
