About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide clarification on coverage, limit, and deadline-related questions
- Coordinate the approval of medical and hospital services, ensuring compliance with insurers’ requirements, including DUT (mandatory coverage guidelines), medical reports, and supplementary tests
- Handle medical transportation cases, liaising with the Itsseg medical team, insurer, and client
- Recommend medical and hospital service providers based on the plan network and procedure required
- Guide and direct requests for advance reimbursement estimates and reimbursement timelines
- Support clients in cases involving unpaid invoices and suspended services
- Monitor payment, settlement of the receivable, and service reinstatement
- Request extensions to invoice due dates when invoices are submitted within the agreed timeframe
- Forward requests for duplicate invoices and cards to the internal operations team
- Engage an Itsseg courier to collect or deliver documents
- Send checklists of documents required for reimbursement or compensation claims
- Notify clients and follow up on outstanding documentation for life insurance reimbursement, policy changes, and compensation processes
- Provide guidance on funeral and travel assistance
- Respond to requests received by email within a maximum of 24 business hours
- Record all service interactions in the Itsseg operations module
- Immediately notify management of incidents or relevant information
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and intermediate Excel)
- Essential knowledge of benefits operations and procedures
- Currently pursuing a degree in a related field
