About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Connect with clients via phone, email, and digital outreach to introduce the agency’s services and generate interest
- Gather basic contact information and preliminary, non-regulated details from prospects
- Hand prospects off to licensed staff
- Maintain, update, and accurately log client interactions in the CRM database
- Adhere strictly to state and federal insurance guidelines
- Do not quote rates, explain specific plan benefits, or close sales
- Support client retention and customer service activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of experience in customer service, telemarketing, inside sales, or general administrative support
- No active health or life insurance license is required
- Access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection
- Quiet, distraction-free remote workspace
- Strong verbal communication
- Active listening with empathy and patience
- Comfort navigating phone, CRM platforms, and basic computer systems
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership
