About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support retention and growth of client relationships by delivering a high-quality client experience
- Apply working knowledge of employee benefits solutions
- Assist with sales and renewal processes to achieve client objectives
- Partner with Senior Account Executives and Account Managers on existing client relationships and new business acquisition
- Serve as day-to-day client contact and coordinate service needs and financial matters
- Manage carrier communications and fee administration
- Develop and execute benefit strategies and ensure service standards are met
- Collaborate with Account Managers and internal teams
- Maintain positive working relationships with vendors and carriers
- Create client renewal strategies and ensure successful execution
- Direct client benefit communications, including wellness programs and benefit enrollment
- Monitor industry trends and client compliance deliverables
- Participate in self-funded and alternative funding discussions with the data analytics team
- Coordinate and present renewal details and drive cost-containment strategies
- Manage and oversee Open Enrollment timelines
- Identify opportunities for additional services and collaborate with Client Advisors and team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven professional history of success at managing client relationships
- Working knowledge of employee benefit regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to calculate customized financial analysis and present an interpretation of the data and its meaning
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of an organization
- Excellent attention to detail
- 2-4+ years of account management experience with mid-large complex Employee Benefits experience for clients with 100+ employees
- State Life and Health Producers license required
- Self-funded experience required
- Epic and Employee Navigator preferred, and/or other agency management systems
- Industry professional designation is a plus
