About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and manage day-to-day communications
  • Foster strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Understand client needs and objectives and provide strategic recommendations and tailored data-driven solutions
  • Proactively communicate and coordinate annual enrollment support throughout the client policy lifecycle
  • Maintain accurate customer activity data in the Agency Management System and related customer engagement software
  • Implement and monitor data-driven, customer-tailored marketing or awareness campaigns
  • Drive industry and solution awareness and exceed client expectations
  • Attain retention and growth targets for assigned customer blocks
  • Identify new client growth opportunities and expansion of services
  • Share client engagement best practices with peers
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
  • Coordinate with Digital Marketing, Human Resources, Compliance, and third-party partners
  • Collaborate with the Digital Employee Benefits Team Leader to address challenges and improve service delivery
  • Support cross-functional initiatives that enhance digital strategy and client success
  • Drive client adoption of self-service tools and enrollment capabilities
  • Promote additional digital services and solutions
  • Introduce innovative ideas, tools, and approaches within client accounts
  • Meet or exceed client retention and satisfaction metrics
  • Perform other tasks or projects as requested by service team or regional leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong client management and relationship-building skills, with a client-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
  • Experience in Applied EPIC or similar account management software
  • Ability to multitask across multiple systems and workflows
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for customer service
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field experience preferred
  • Must hold applicable Health and Life Insurance state license
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management or a related role
  • Must have held a current license for over 1 year
  • Proven experience managing client relationships and achieving retention targets
  • Experience remarketing clients across multiple carriers, delivering client proposals, and providing consultation regarding available solutions
  • Ability to account round and cross-sell products to broaden the total client relationship
  • Comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership
