Key responsibilities & impact- Provide customer service
- Prepare quotes across all insurance companies in the market for new policies, renewals, endorsements, and fleet insurance
- Finalize proposals and schedule inspections
- Negotiate with insurance carriers
- Prepare and present the best options to customers
- Assess customer needs to provide the best quote and deliver professional insurance consulting
- Enter information into the system and submit issuance requests to the insurance carrier
- Ensure all documents required by insurance carriers for policy issuance are submitted
- Ensure inspections are completed
- Follow up on pending issues and declined applications to achieve effective and timely resolutions
- Resolve customer issues promptly
- Work with agility and discipline in day-to-day situations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Sense of urgency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of general policy conditions and regulations for auto and home insurance
