About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support attorneys providing legal counsel to business units across the organization
  • Review, draft, revise, and manage routine agreements, including vendor agreements, nondisclosure agreements, services agreements, statements of work, and other business contracts
  • Coordinate contract review workflows and monitor contract status through execution
  • Maintain contract files and ensure agreements are executed, organized, and retained
  • Assist with contract-related reporting and tracking obligations
  • Coordinate legal requests from business units and respond to routine legal inquiries
  • Support legal review of operational initiatives, policies, and business processes
  • Facilitate intake, assignment, and tracking of legal matters and requests
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research and prepare summaries for attorney review
  • Assist with compliance projects and legal risk assessments
  • Support implementation and maintenance of legal policies, procedures, and training materials
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain legal files, templates, and departmental records
  • Update contract management systems and legal technology tools
  • Assist with document collection and organization for audits, investigations, litigation matters, and regulatory inquiries
  • Ensure legal documentation complies with company policies and record retention requirements
  • Leverage AI and technology-enabled solutions to improve operational efficiency and provide scalable, data-driven support
  • Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Procurement, Compliance, Information Security, Operations, business leaders, and functional teams
  • Coordinate with outside counsel and external vendors
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal information
  • Support Legal Department special projects and strategic initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple business functions
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys, legal professionals, and business stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • At least 3-5 years of paralegal experience or comparable work experience required
  • Experience supporting contracting, corporate legal operations, regulatory compliance, or general corporate law matters preferred
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management systems and legal operations tools preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Paralegal certification from an accredited institution preferred
