About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify pressing talent opportunities and challenges and reflect workforce implications in business plans
- Inform HR priorities and evaluate demand for new or adjusted HR offerings
- Execute existing and new HR solutions and capabilities
- Partner on hiring, onboarding, development, advancement, and talent pipelines
- Monitor external marketplace trends and recommend impacts on employees
- Oversee employee relations, interpret policy, and resolve issues
- Develop and execute HR strategies supporting organizational change
- Manage change and uncertainty through communication, leadership alignment, and employee involvement
- Facilitate cultural integration and build a cohesive, inclusive environment
- Support onboarding and offboarding experiences
- Identify and retain key talent through retention plans, compensation, and growth opportunities
- Evaluate roles and partner with Compensation on fair, competitive compensation structures
- Identify and develop high-potential employees and future leaders
- Create career development opportunities with managers
- Design and deliver training programs
- Support performance management systems and feedback processes
- Maintain transparent communication and manage employee expectations
- Steward HR policies and procedures through feedback, audits, monitoring, and adaptation
- Coach leaders through team and organizational change
- Enable collaboration and networking across HR and the organization
- Challenge assumptions and advise leaders on talent implications
- Reprioritize actions for ad-hoc topics and assignments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational behavior
- Proven experience facilitating workforce planning processes
- Familiarity with and solid experience facilitating talent management processes, such as talent reviews and succession planning
- Strong ability to influence, build relationships, and communicate across all levels of an organization
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations issues and driving change
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; or a recognized equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8 or more years in progressive HR with geographically distributed employee populations
- 3 or more years supporting Growth or other commercial functions
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or matrixed environment preferred
- Experience working in Finance or Insurance industry preferred
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent HR certification preferred
- Familiarity with Workday preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.) preferred
