About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the analytical framing of strategically important and ambiguous questions facing North America Insurance leadership
- Define analytical approaches and drive work from problem definition through executive-ready recommendations
- Design and deliver enterprise-scale analytical products from metric definition and data modeling through self-service delivery
- Engage senior executive stakeholders to shape the analytical agenda and translate ambiguous business questions into defensible answers
- Lead multi-quarter analytical initiatives across large, multi-source datasets
- Establish standards for analytical rigor, problem framing, communication of data limitations, and executive trust
- Write and optimize expert-level SQL against Palantir Foundry
- Architect data models and pipelines; extend dbt models and Palantir Ontology objects
- Architect and productionize AI-augmented analytical workflows, including Generative AI classification pipelines
- Define trustworthy standards for AI-supported analytical workflows
- Champion intellectual honesty about data limitations and make uncertainty actionable
- Support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership through on-site presence
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–8 years of professional experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or a strategy-adjacent analytics role
- Expert command of SQL, including window functions, CTEs, multi-table joins, query optimization, and data logic architecture
- Track record of owning end-to-end analytical products, from metric definition and data modeling through self-service delivery
- Deep experience with a modern cloud data warehouse and hands-on data modeling with dbt or an equivalent transformation framework
- Ability to independently frame ambiguous business problems and drive multi-quarter initiatives with minimal oversight
- Executive-grade written and verbal communication
- Experience integrating AI or ML into production-quality analytical workflows
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI
- Genuine interest in developing expertise in Palantir Foundry
- Rigorous validation of AI outputs before business or production use
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical field, or equivalent professional experience
- Advanced degrees are welcomed but not required
- Comfortable with an on-site presence
- Nice to have: Palantir Foundry, Ontology modeling, Workshop application development, Python, insurance or financial services experience, C-suite presentation experience, analytical standards/playbooks, agile practices, Git, and Jira
- Not able to sponsor visas for this position
