About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Integrate new modules into the Angular codebase while taking the overall architecture into account
Establish and implement guidelines for component structure, state management, reusability, and consistent patterns
Actively evolve the design system and component library
Use coding agents such as Claude Code responsibly, including reviewing and testing generated code
Design performance, state management, and data flow for a data-intensive professional application
Cleanly integrate REST and asynchronous backend interfaces
Work closely with the backend team on API contracts
Integrate test automation into the delivery process
Work with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, Angular Signals, an NX monorepo, Angular Material, CDK, Jest, Playwright, Testing Library, GitLab CI, ESLint, Stylelint, and SignalR

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of professional frontend experience with Angular and TypeScript in production systems
Demonstrated experience taking responsibility for frontend architecture, including state management, component design, reusability, and consistency
Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and integrate it into an existing architecture in a maintainable and testable manner
Solid understanding of performance, data flow, and clean interface integration
Experience working in agile teams (Scrum/Kanban)
Excellent German language skills
Experience building or maintaining design systems and component libraries is a plus
Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus
Experience in regulatory-sensitive domains such as Legal Tech, as well as with permissions and visibility logic in the UI, is a plus
Knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, Angular Signals, an NX monorepo, Angular Material, Angular CDK, Jest, Playwright, Testing Library, GitLab CI, ESLint, Stylelint, and SignalR
