About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Integrate new modules into the Angular codebase while taking the overall architecture into account
Establish and implement guidelines for component structure, state management, reusability, and consistent patterns
Further develop the design system and component foundation
Use coding agents such as Claude Code responsibly, and review, test, and maintain the generated code
Own performance, state, and data-flow design for a data-intensive specialist application
Integrate REST and asynchronous backend interfaces
Collaborate with the backend team on API contracts
Implement test automation as an integral part of delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of professional frontend experience with Angular and TypeScript in production systems
Proven experience taking responsibility for frontend architecture, including state management, component design, reusability, and consistency
Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and integrate it into existing architectures in a maintainable and testable way
Solid understanding of performance, data flow, and clean interface integration
Experience working in agile teams (Scrum / Kanban)
Excellent German language skills
Experience building or maintaining design systems and component libraries, an awareness of accessibility (WCAG), and experience in regulated industries are a plus
