About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team
- Prioritize tool stability, reliability, scalability, performance, and security
- Lead product and technology roadmap planning

Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 7 years of software development experience, including prior experience as a CTO or in similar leadership roles
- Strong expertise in PHP, preferably with Laravel framework
- Experience applying Clean/Hexagonal Architecture in production
- Strong proficiency in web development in multiple programming languages, especially PHP/Laravel and JavaScript, with at least 5 years of professional experience
- Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on experience in Web Components (Lit 3.0 or similar), with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience
- Practical experience with Node.js and its ecosystem
- Proficiency in MySQL in multi-tenant environments
- Experience designing or operating fine-grained authorization systems (RBAC/ReBAC/ABAC) is a strong plus
- Competency integrating third-party APIs, including Microsoft Graph API, Google APIs, AWS, Stripe, and PayPal
- Desirable experience in Domain-Driven Design and Agile Methodologies
- Comfort leading teams that use AI-assisted development workflows as a core practice
- Previous experience building and scaling highly available SaaS and PaaS platforms
- Ability to develop and execute a long-term technology strategy aligned with business objectives
- Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills
- Fluent English and Spanish are valued
