About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to modernizing the internally developed platform
- Build modern user interfaces using Lit and Web Components
- Migrate features from the legacy system to the new Web Components architecture
- Implement new features as required
- Participate in internal training and mentoring
- Build reusable UI components based on UX/UI designs and team standards
- Write clean JavaScript (ESNext) following industry best practices
- Learn and help create unit and integration tests
- Maintain the Storybook component library documentation
- Identify and fix visual or logic issues under supervision
- Participate in daily meetings and refinement sessions
- Contribute to technical discussions and collaborate with the development team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate (Computer Science), Web Development vocational training, or a high-intensity Frontend Bootcamp
- Solid grasp of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), and JS Bundlers
- Proactive, curious, and open to constructive feedback through code reviews
- Passion for pixel-perfect design and great UX
- Basic Git version control skills (clone, commit, push, pull)
- Proficient Spanish
- English sufficient to read technical documentation and communicate internally
- Comfortable using the UNIX/Bash terminal on WSL, Mac, or Linux
- Experience with React, Vue, or Angular is a bonus
- Experience with Lit or understanding of Web Components is a bonus
- Experience implementing software architecture patterns is a bonus
- Personal GitHub projects demonstrating clean, organized code are a bonus
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Figma, or Web Accessibility (WCAG) is a bonus
- Knowledge of Test Driven Development principles is a bonus
