About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Recruit medical facilities into Acuity's worldwide provider network
  • Act as the primary liaison between recruited facilities and Acuity
  • Conduct extensive phone work, cold calling, and pricing negotiations with medical facilities CONUS and OCONUS
  • Interact with and recruit medical facilities and clinics for Occupational Health Services Business Line initiatives
  • Research and network to develop recruitment opportunities
  • Understand assigned geographic territory and secure appropriate provider coverage
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with facility providers and office staff
  • Learn medical exam components and negotiate pricing on agreements and addendums
  • Set up and maintain facility information and run reports using software applications
  • Collect and disseminate Provider Service Agreement paperwork
  • Identify individuals for credentialing and communicate with the Credentialing Manager
  • Resolve complex provider issues and calls
  • Apply Commercial and Government contract requirements to medical facilities/entities
  • Communicate with Acuity Program Managers, Assistant Program Managers, and stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Identify and offer solutions to complex issues; prioritize, train, and delegate special projects
  • Support team success and motivate team members
  • Attend meetings and perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma and 5-6 years of experience
  • 2-3 years of experience specific to medical facility recruitment
  • Ability to participate in interdepartmental project groups or task forces
  • Demonstrated comfort with negotiation process required
  • Proficiency with computers and common office equipment
  • Proficiency with MS Office products required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive and multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with cold calling
  • Ability to adapt to change when needed
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
