About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assemble fixtures, mount electronic components, and install them into larger assemblies or casings
- Properly install electric wiring and test or troubleshoot equipment before it is put into or returned to service
- Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and products by hand or with small tools
- Use hand and power tools, drills, crimps, wire strippers, screws, bolts, rivets, press fits, and similar tools
- Follow security rules, safety policies, instructions, and quality guidelines
- Learn and perform manual tool operations
- Complete required work accurately with attention to detail
- Work with others in a team environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment with specialized configurations
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
- Good communication skills
- Ability to prioritize
- Fast and self-initiating learning
- Ability to perform basic mathematics
- Bilingual: English/Spanish (preferred)
- Some electronic experience (preferred)
- Flexible to work overtime as needed (preferred)
